How to fill this G702/G703 online form
- Enter project, contractor, owner or GC, application period, and dates.
- Replace the sample SOV descriptions and scheduled values with your own subcontract scopes.
- For subsequent applications, enter prior installed work, prior stored materials, and prior retainage from the last certified application.
- Enter cumulative installed percentage and presently stored materials. Move installed materials out of stored value to avoid double counting.
- Review all flags, then export the payment summary and continuation detail.
What the summary checks
Contract sum to date = original sum + net approved changes. Total earned less retainage = completed and stored − retainage. Current payment due = earned less retainage − previous certificates. Balance to finish, including retainage = contract sum to date − earned less retainage.
This is PayAppKit’s original AIA-style layout. If your subcontract requires an official licensed form or a GC-specific template, confirm the submission format before sending.
What is a G703 schedule of values?
The G703 continuation sheet breaks a contract into the individual scopes used to support a progress payment application. A schedule of values (SOV) lists each scope and its scheduled amount; together, those amounts should reconcile to the contract sum, including approved changes. Each billing period adds the work completed and materials presently stored for each line.
Use the editable schedule of values template
The worksheet above starts with fictional sample lines. Replace the descriptions and scheduled values with your contract scopes. Enter the amount previously completed, current cumulative progress, and stored materials for each line. Open each line for previous-period amounts and retainage rates. The totals update as you edit, and the PDF contains both the continuation detail and payment summary.
Check the relationship to G702
The continuation sheet explains how the cumulative amount was earned; the G702-style payment application summarizes the contract, retainage, previous certificates, and amount currently due. Keep the same period, contract amount, and approved change orders on both. Move installed materials out of stored materials so they are not counted twice.
PayAppKit uses its own layout. If the contract requires a licensed AIA form or a GC-specific template, confirm the required format before submitting. See the AIA G703 instructions for the official form.
The G702 payment application summarizes the figures from this continuation sheet.
